The Center for Spatial Studies of the University of California, Santa Barbara, with IAYG as a co-organizer, has decided to go
international this year with the official launch of Spatial @Global, the annual poster and plenary
sessions fair of the university, with the theme of “Spatial Data Science for a Sustainable Future”
Historically staged as [email protected], it has taken advantage of the use of virtual platforms to welcome
submissions from different parts of the globe. While the suggested theme is Spatial Data Science for a Sustainable Future, we invite participants to submit research posters on any spatial research topic (individually or as a team!). This is the center’s first international exhibition on multidisciplinary research.

Participants will have the opportunity to interface with scholars at a leading American university and around the world, and submissions are required by May 23, 2021. The virtual poster exhibition will be held online on June 2, 2021. Individuals are also invited to attend/view the event without submitting a poster by registering here.
